DR-BOB ‘Future of Electricity Demand Response’ event at Teesside University

On 23th October 2019, Teesside University Team, Siemens, and Knowledge Transfer Network presented DR-BOB project at an event held at Teesside University. The event was organized to provide understanding of energy challenges, opportunities and technology developments in demand response, in the context of decarbonisation.

The participant were presented the opportunity to see a live demonstration of a Demand Response technology developed in the Dr BoB Horizon 2020 project (, as well as gaining understanding of how Teesside University is contributing towards the national strategy to achieve Zero carbon emissions.

The event brought together community from academia and industry that interested in the field of sustainability and energy efficiency with the aim of promoting discussion, find synergies and signpost appropriate funding and support mechanisms to drive development of decarbonisation solutions.
